Today, we said a sad goodbye to a member of staff that has been part of our Sibbertoft family for over 20 years. Sandra, who has been a much loved cook here, has decided to finally hang up her oven gloves! We wish her every happiness in her retirement and she leaves with all of our love and thanks. She will be greatly missed.
Our visit to the church was rained off today so thank you to Kairen for coming to us instead!
Today, we welcomed back the Market Harborough Ukulele Group. As ever, they were amazing and we all enjoyed their performance.
We welcomed a new group of entertainers today and they were fantastic. Beautiful singing and keyboard playing that got us all singing and smiling. We hope to see you again soon…
We have had a lovely afternoon having tea and cake at our favourite café – Waterloo Farm Leisure. A short walk and a beautiful drive in the countryside made our afternoon complete.
The craft group worked hard this morning to create heart themed table decorations to ‘spread a little love’ at our lunch tables today.
Great work from our small team of cooks today…the pancakes were delicious. Just a little taster before our own cook dishes up pancakes for ALL of our residents at lunchtime.
