Sibbertoft Manor armchair winter Olympics!

This morning, we had great fun with our own version of the winter Olympics. We began with a hands-on look at actual skis, a snowboard, boots, helmet, sticks and goggles to give us a better idea of what the athletes in Italy have been competing in. We had an interesting Q and A session that explored the practicalities and experiences of enjoying winter sports and we learnt about the history of the winter Olympics. We completed our morning by competing in a table top curling competition and a ski jump event. Medals were won and the National Anthem was played at the medal ceremony. A fantastically fun and informative time was had by all!
