Just excellent “caring” at its best. Always clean, always attentive, always there. Very well organised, efficient and effective whilst maintaining maximum dignity.

My gran only had sixteen days at Sibbertoft Manor before she died but the care and attention she received was always to the highest level! The matron is amazing and a holistic individualised care plan is in place very quickly.
All the staff are welcoming, friendly, caring, knowledgeable and very efficient.

When she was dying, the end of life package was put in place and the staff did everything they could to ensure that as relatives we were supported at all times.
They cared for her and ensured her dignity and her wishes were always carried out. The care she had was excellent and she had a peaceful, pain-free death.
Sibbertoft Manor is outstanding in every way.

We would just like to record our thanks and gratitude for the help and care that you gave our dad over the past three and a half years. He was very happy in your care and we can never thank you enough for the quality care he received during his stay at Sibbertoft Manor.
Thanks for seeing that dad was as comfortable as possible during his last days, we really appreciated the kind way that all at Sibbertoft interacted with Dad.
Thank you all so very much.
From all of the family.

My mother, who died at Sibbertoft Manor in October 2017, lived with you since February 2015, and was very happy there. We visited her from Australia several times in 2015 before returning to Melbourne, so Marilyn and I have personal knowledge of her accommodation and the care you provided. We especially appreciated the meals you provided us and Edna in your sunny upstairs lounge.
We would like to thank you for making mother’s last few years as happy as they were and we are glad that her final ‘flight’ was peaceful and as stress free as possible. I know my brother Eddie and his wife Chris, who have carried our share of the responsibility for mother since we emigrated to Australia in 1977, also feel this way.

Words are hard to find to express our gratitude for the love and care you showed our father and our families over the last 5 months. It has been a great comfort with peace of mind to know that our father was in the best place with the best possible care and we thank you especially for those last few precious days.
You have a great team at Sibbertoft so please pass on our thanks to them for their dedication and kindness.

My mother’s greatest fear was having to go into a care home. When the time came she felt very fortunate to find a place at Sibbertoft Manor. Apart from being a lovely setting, the ethos of the home was exactly what she was looking for. She quickly felt it was her ‘home’, where she found many friends
to look after her. She greatly enjoyed the many trips out and valued her independence to be able to eat in the dining room or her own room and to participate in the activities that suited her. Her last 2 1/2 years at Sibbertoft Manor were very happy – she was never lonely and often said that she had too much to do – not bad at 104! I do not believe that she could have had better care, especially in the last 2 months when she was very ill. Even in her last few days, she was still saying how lucky she was to be there – with so much love and care.

Thank you to one and all at Sibbertoft Manor for making my mother’s birthday such a delightful day for her from beginning to end.
It was a busy day behind the scenes, as ever, yet everyone found time to congratulate Joyce and to have a chat with us.
As a former primary school teacher, Joyce enjoyed sitting in the garden, watching while decorations on a Summer Seaside theme were put in place, ready for the arrival of “The Danny James Band” It reminded her of putting up classroom displays!
From the glorious weather to the special birthday lunch, to the “Golden Oldies” played by the band who sang “Happy Birthday” to her, to the home made chocolate and mint butterfly cake, my mother and I had a wonderful day.

Dear Matron and all staff at Sibbertoft,
I can’t thank you enough for the kindness, love and care you showed to my mum, myself and the family. She was looked after well and had begun to see it as her home. When she became ill, she was able to stay in her own bed with no distressing intervention and she died peacefully with her family around her. We are very grateful for that and to both nurses, who were on duty that day, for their kindness and support.
I know there is also a big background support team – Care Assistants, Cleaners, Laundry, Cooks and Gardners. Please pass on my thanks to all.
